What is an AI document scanner?
An AI document scanner does more than turn a photo into text. Orlo uses a state of the art vision-language model tuned for UK document layouts. You can always review and edit the extracted fields with one tap. The aim is to get you to a correct result in seconds, not to demand perfection on the first try.
Does it work on a phone camera photo?
Yes. The mobile apps for iOS and Android include a camera flow that auto-crops the document, handles glare, and uploads to Orlo for extraction. The result is the same as if you had uploaded a clean PDF.
Is my document data used to train models?
No. Your documents are private. They are not used as training data for any model, and they are not shared with third parties. Orlo is a paid product, funded by subscriptions, not by data sales or ads.
Can I correct mistakes the AI makes?
Yes. Every extracted field is editable. If Orlo got the renewal date wrong, change it and the reminder updates. Corrections only happen once because the original document is still attached.
