Pin a note to a document

Write "ask about the excess before renewing" and attach it directly to the policy it is about. A plain notes app has no concept of your documents at all — it is just a list, disconnected from everything else.

Give it a reminder date

Add a date and Orlo emails and pushes you when it is due — the same delivery pipeline as every other reminder in the app, not a separate to-do system you have to remember to check.

Shared with your household — or the world

A note in a shared workspace is visible to everyone in it. Need to send just one note to someone outside Orlo? Generate a revocable public link, same as you can for a document.

Attach it to an existing document, give it a reminder date, both, or neither — a note works standalone too.

On your Notes list, on the document it is pinned to, in your inbox and on your phone when its reminder date arrives — or on a public link if you choose to share it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Notes free?
Yes. Notes is available on every plan, including the free plan — there is no upgrade required to use it.
Do I have to attach a note to a document?
No. A note can be completely standalone — just something you want to write down and keep. Attaching it to a document is optional, for when a note is specifically about that document.
Do I have to set a reminder date?
No. A note without a date just sits in your Notes list. Add a date only when you actually want to be reminded about it.
How is this different from just using Apple Notes or Google Keep?
A plain notes app has no idea what is in your household — no documents, no renewal dates, no other members of your family or business. Orlo Notes can be pinned to the exact document it is about, can trigger a real reminder through the same email and push system as everything else in Orlo, and is visible to everyone in a shared workspace, not just you.
Who can see a note?
Everyone in the workspace it was created in. If you write a note in your Household workspace, everyone you have shared that workspace with can see it — the same visibility model as documents and reminders.
Can I edit or delete a note later?
Yes, at any time, from the Notes page or from the document it is pinned to.
Can I format a note, or attach a file?
Yes. Bold, italic, strikethrough, headings, lists, links, text colour, and font are all supported, plus photo and PDF attachments (up to 10 per note, 20MB each). It is deliberately basic rich text, not a full page-building editor.
Can I share a note publicly?
Yes. Create a revocable, read-only link from the note — the same sharing model already used for documents and workspaces. Anyone with the link can view the note and its attachments without an Orlo account. You can revoke it at any time.
