Orlo is built by a small team that ships quickly. We do not hide behind vague promises. Here is exactly what is live, what we are building right now, and what is coming after that.
This is where Orlo is today
You can upload 15 different types of document. Insurance policies, MOT certificates, passports, tax returns, warranties, contracts, medical letters, utility bills, memberships, invoices, receipts, bookings, subscriptions, events, and travel documents.
For each one, Orlo reads the document, pulls out the details that matter, and suggests reminders at the right times. Insurance gets four warnings starting six weeks out. Passports flag six months before expiry because most countries will not let you in otherwise. MOT reminders start at six weeks so you can book a slot that suits you.
The iOS app is on the App Store. Push notifications are live. The Pro calendar lets you track deadlines alongside personal appointments. Reminders go out by email and push.
What is next
Calendar sync
Connect Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook. When Orlo extracts a renewal date or payment deadline, it goes straight into your calendar with a reminder attached. No more typing dates in manually.
Android app
A native Android app. Not a wrapped website. Upload, review, get push notifications. The backend already supports it. We are waiting on the app itself.
Email forwarding
Forward a document to your personal Orlo address. It gets uploaded, read, and filed. You never need to open the app. Just forward the email and move on.
Weekly digest
A short email on Monday morning. What is due this week, what needs reviewing, any deadlines coming up. One read and you know where you stand.
Bulk upload
Drop a stack of documents in one go. Orlo processes them in the background and lets you know when they are ready.
Where we are headed
These are on our list. The order depends on what users ask for most.
Desktop app. A proper Windows and macOS application for people who would rather not use a browser.
Document sharing. Send a document or its extracted details to a partner, accountant, landlord, or solicitor with a secure link.
Family vault. A shared space for household documents. Both partners see the insurance and vehicle docs. Personal files stay private.
Spending insights. See where your money goes each month based on your receipts and invoices.
Document comparison. Upload this year's insurance renewal and see exactly what changed from last year. Price, cover level, exclusions.
Smart actions. Insurance expiring? Compare quotes. Broadband ending? See switching deals. Reminders that actually help you do something.
Recurring tracking. Orlo learns when your bills usually arrive. If one is late, you get a nudge.
Tags and folders. Organise documents however you like. By property, by vehicle, by person.
Full-text search. Find any document by searching its content. Policy numbers, reference codes, names.
Offline access. Look up your details on your phone when you have no signal.
PDF export. Download a summary of all your documents and dates as a PDF.
