Frequently asked questions

How many workspaces can I have?
Free: 1 (your Personal workspace). Basic: 3. Pro: 20. Workspaces you're invited to by someone else don't count against your cap.
Can I share documents with people who don't have Orlo?
Yes. Click Share on any document or in a workspace's settings. Orlo generates a read-only link you can send to anyone. Set an expiry date or leave it open-ended. Revoke any time.
Who can see what in a shared workspace?
Members see every document in that workspace — same as the owner. People viewing a public share link see a sanitised read-only view: document title, extracted fields, preview, download. Nothing about reminders, other workspaces, or your personal details.
What's the difference between inviting a member and sending a share link?
Invited members sign in with an Orlo account, get notified of reminders for that workspace, and (if editors) can add documents. Share-link viewers don't need an account, can only read, and see only what the link targets.
Can I move documents between workspaces?
Not yet — documents stay in the workspace they were uploaded to. If you need to move one, re-upload it into the correct workspace. We'll add a move feature in a future update.
Does the upload quota apply per workspace or total?
Your monthly upload quota is per user. Spread across all your workspaces however you like — a Basic user's 50 uploads is a shared bucket.
Do mobile apps support workspaces?
Yes, iOS and Android both support switching workspaces. The apps list your workspaces in Settings; tap one to switch contexts.
