Get your Orlo address

Open Settings in Orlo. Basic and Pro users get a personal address like your.name@mail.getorlo.app. Copy it once and you're set.

Forward the email

Hit forward on any receipt, renewal, or bill and send it to your Orlo address. Or set up a Gmail filter that auto-forwards matching emails to the same address.

Documents imported and reminders set

AI reads each attachment, extracts the key details, and sets progressive reminders before every deadline. All automatic.

Simple to set up, safe by default

Works with any email provider

Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail, your work email. If you can forward, you can use it. No OAuth, no account connection.

Only trusted senders are imported

Your Orlo address only accepts mail from addresses you've verified. Strangers who guess the address can't spam your inbox.

PDF and image attachments

Handles PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC. Covers insurance policies, utility bills, invoices, tickets, and more.

AI reads every document

Each imported document is classified into one of 15 types and its key details are extracted: provider, dates, amounts, reference numbers.

Reminders set automatically

Insurance gets 4 reminders starting 6 weeks before expiry. MOT gets 3 reminders. Every document type has its own tailored reminder logic.

Stays within your upload limit

Forwarded documents count towards your monthly plan allowance. If you hit your limit, forwarding pauses until next month. You stay in control.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from the old Gmail connection?
Instead of connecting your inbox with OAuth, you forward emails to your personal Orlo address. No read access to your inbox, no Google consent screen, and it works with any email provider — not just Gmail.
Which plans include the forwarding address?
Basic and Pro. Free accounts still get manual uploads from the app, but forwarding is a paid perk.
Can someone spam my Orlo address?
No. Your address only accepts mail forwarded from email addresses you've added to your allowed-senders list. By default this is your sign-in email. Anything forwarded from an unverified sender is silently dropped.
What happens to attachments that aren't documents?
Only PDF and image attachments are imported. Executables, scripts, macros, and archive files are rejected. We also check the actual file contents match the claimed type so someone can't rename a virus to .pdf.
Can I auto-forward from Gmail?
Yes. In Gmail, go to Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses → Create a new filter. Set conditions (e.g. "has attachment" + specific senders) and action "Forward to" your Orlo address. Gmail will auto-forward matching emails forever.
What if I want to change my address?
In Settings you can regenerate your address to a random slug any time. The old one stops accepting mail immediately, which is useful if you ever want to rotate away from a name-based address.
