Understanding Your Household Dashboard
The household dashboard pulls together everything that matters about your home admin into one screen: what you're spending monthly, what's coming up, and what's changed. Here's what powers each section.
Monthly costs
This totals the latest known amount from every recurring document group you have — subscriptions, utilities, memberships, insurance, contracts, and pet insurance. It only counts documents that have been grouped with price tracking (see how price tracking works), so a one-off invoice won't appear here.
This month vs last month
This compares your total receipt spending for the current calendar month against the previous one, based on the total_amount extracted from every receipt you've uploaded in each period.
Key dates
Pulled from vehicle, travel, insurance, contract, warranty, membership, certificate, and pet documents — anything with an expiry, renewal, or next-due date within the next 90 days. Dates further out or already passed don't show here; they're still tracked by your reminders regardless.
Price changes
Any document group where the latest amount differs from the previous one appears here, with the percentage change. This is the same underlying data as the price history shown on an individual document's page.
Documents by type
A simple count of everything in the workspace, broken down by document type, plus how many are still sitting in "needs review" rather than confirmed.
The dashboard is scoped to whichever workspace you currently have selected — switch workspaces from the sidebar to see a different household's numbers.
